still on the subject of hair

This would, arguably, my most boring post to date. You see am still in a state of utter daze as i contemplate on whether to actually chop my hair into a bob. I know. my hairstyling prob would be the last thing you guys would wanna hear about, but great blog friends do stick around despite all the nonsense, right? hello? you still there?
Never was i the kind to cower against "the scissors", as evidenced by my hair history. I have had tried it all believe me, from the 3inches of hair to the indie-slash-cult looking length, from the floss-straight ones to the wavy, curly dos. But i was no longer the capricious, hormone-blasting kid that i used to be, and there are no more annoying boyfriends to cause me to impulsively mow my hair into smithereens.

As i suffer myself with such indecision, i would leave you with my own version of the great Bard's famous soliloquy opening line:

" To cut or not to cut, that is the question"

  1. You look good having curly hair. I have also problem in whether to cut my hair or not. But my mother advice me not to. She loves my curly hair and so do I.

  2. I had the same hair as you, same length and same waves. I have also been wanting to cut my hair short specially after watching the girl with the dragon tattoo trilogy so one day (actually,2 weeks ago!), I just went to the bathroom took the scissors and chopped off about 4 inches. Then I went into a shock, then cried after for around 2 hours---really loud, hysterical crying while my kids laugh at me uncontrollably.

I learned my lesson and I am sharing that with you now. There are women meant to have short hair and there are us... DON'T DO IT!!!!

  4. You look fabulous with that hair! You should stick with it haha :) But it's still up to you in the end though :) It's never wrong to try something new anyway. You might like the outcome in the end!

    Good luck! *fingers crossed*

  8. NOT TO CUT! I really am inlove with natural wavy hair, because my hair is limp and straight (para ako nagyayabang pero seryoso ayaw ko ng ganitong buhok)

Parang weird yata ang wavy na bobcut? unless magpaparebond ka or something?

  9. i'm thinking the same about my hair but if you do cut it about 10 inches, you may wish to donate it at locksoflove. I did it twice before.

I think you'll still be pretty either with short or long hair.

PS you always have great pictures here on your blog

  12. You have gorgeous hair! I'm jealous...

I cut mine not that long ago, and I don't regret it, however, I'm growing it out again. I like the versatility of long hair, but short hair is less maintenance-good for summer.

    Love that dress, too!

  14. I think it would look great in a bob... but be warned you might grow tired of it quickly.

My hair went from middle back to pixie, to bob, to shoulder, to middle back, to asymmetrical bob, and now back to shoulder hoping to reach middle back again soon. lol

  15. Beautiful blog! If you want to cut your hair I say go for it :), I'm actually letting mine grow and it feels like it's taking forever, so maybe you should consider that if you want if you go for the cut.

  17. hmmmm i think long hair suits you better than short hair, considering your aesthetic. maybe just cut a little to remove split ends? dunno, i may be biased, but i do love short hair. i'm just anxious of haircuts in general...
